If you find a young hummer, don’t try to take it home, because the mother is surely near and is just afraid to get closer. Leave the young in the nest and don’t touch them. If you know that the babies are orphaned, contact the wildlife rehabilitation personnel or the International Wildlife Rehabilitation Council.
